At HVPAC and NTPAC Gabriela von Kanel Fyfe and her associates offer personal counselling services to those who have suffered from the traumatic event of the Christchurch earthquakes and also offer telephone counselling to those who are unable to make it to one of the practice locations.

The earthquakes in Christchurch have taken a terrible toll on all of us. Every day you may have travelled to the city and now you see things that remind us of those terrifying minutes and days of aftershocks that have followed. We also find emotional effects, as we continue to re-live the events in our minds, as we find ourselves on edge, unable to relax and as we find ourselves nervous and fighting back emotions.

For those who have left Christchurch but still suffer from the shock and the terrifying experience of the earthquake we offer counselling in the Wellington, Lower Hutt, Nelson, Mapua and Tasman region. We want to do our part in helping the people who were in Christchurch city at the time of the earthquake to heal, so we will be offering the counselling to those affected by the earthquake (i.e., those living in Christchurch and who were in the area during the major quake on 04 September 2010 as well as the quake from Tuesday 22 February 2011).

Gabriela von Kanel Fyfe and her associates will be offering as much assistance as our staff can support. We generally have a set fee for our counselling services, but do offer a donation/koha service for those in need.
